Curriculum For Veteran Agents


  • Travel Professional Academy bases its new travel agent curriculum on three foundations:

    1. Industry Knowledge: understanding the mechanics and logistics of travel, tourism and hospitality.
    2. Client Knowledge: understanding the role of the travel consultant in assisting the traveler, empathy and being client-centric.
    3. Relationships with Suppliers and Clients: developing relationships rather than being transaction oriented.

    Each of our modules is based on sound educational strategies. Our marketing training has been developed and tested over a period of decades. Most importantly, every student is treated as an individual.

    ​At the heart of the program are monthly coaching calls to review the course-work and to keep your business plan moving forward.

    Travel Professional Academy draws on the resources of every major destination, airline, hotel company, cruise line and transportation provider, as well as travel industry associations to put together its curriculum and to assist with presentations to our students. Plus, we provide a large network of opportunities for further training and career development.


Curriculum and inclusions: The Travel Professional Academy program for existing travel agents is an intensive course in Sales, Marketing and Customer Service and is supported with textbooks, telephone coaching, webinars, and optional in person training at scheduled events as well as an optional training cruise.

An investment in your success

The entire course of training for the existing travel agent is $89 a month in ten monthly installments once your application is made and accepted. This covers all training, textbooks and testing.

The in person trainings are highly recommended but optional.
